This comes from a list of the 100 Most Important Human Traits as printed in the Investor’s Business Daily Newspaper a few year’s back.
After listing each trait, I’m going to define the key words from each trait. Your task is to think about these traits and make the appropriate changes in your life to put them into place.
76. Patience
Patience – An ability or willingness to suppress restlessness or annoyance when confronted with delay. Bearing of provocation, annoyance, misfortune, or pain, without complaint, loss of temper, irritation, or the like.
77. Perseverance / Persistence
Perseverance – Steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state, especially in spite of difficulties, obstacles or discouragement.
Persistence – The act or fact of continuing steadfastly or firmly in some state, purpose, course of action or the like, especially in spite of opposition. To last or endure tenaciously.
78. Political / Social Awareness
Political – Of, pertaining to, or involving the state or its government. Of or pertaining to citizens.
Social – Of or pertaining to the life, welfare and relations of human beings in a community.
Awareness – Having knowledge; conscious; cognizant. Informed; alert; knowledgeable; sophisticated.
79. Respectfulness of others
Respectfulness – Full of, characterized by, or showing politeness or deference. Courteous, polite, civil, deferential.
Others – Different or distinct from the one mentioned or implied. Different from the self.
80. Responsibility
Responsibility – Reliability or dependability. The state or fact of being answerable or accountable, as for something within one’s power, control or management.
