This comes from a list of the 100 Most Important Human Traits as printed in the Investor’s Business Daily Newspaper a few year’s back.
After listing each trait, I’m going to define the key words from each trait. Your task is to think about these traits and make the appropriate changes in your life to put them into place.
16. Collaborativeness
Collaborate – To cooperate, usually willingly. To work, one with another.
17. Commitment
Commit – To pledge (oneself) to a position on an issue or question; express (one’s intention, feeling, etc.). To bind or obligate, as by pledge or assurance.
18. Communication Skills
Communicate – To impart knowledge of; make known. To impart. To transmit.
Skill – The ability, coming from one’s knowledge, practice, aptitude, etc., to do something well. Competent excellence in performance; expertness.
19. Compassion
Compassion – A feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering.
20. Consistent Belief System
Consistent – Constantly adhering to the same principles, course, form.
Belief – An opinion or conviction. Confidence. Faith.
System – An ordered and comprehensive assemblage of facts, principles, doctrines, or the like in a particular field of knowledge or thought. A plan or procedure.
